Production Method

The mixture is then left to ripen for around 30-40 minutes, during which time the bacteria ferment the lactose in the milk and produce lactic acid. The resulting curd is then cut into small pieces and cooked in a steam-heated vat to a temperature of around 55°C.

The curd is then cooled and transferred to a cheese mold, where it is pressed to remove excess liquid and shape the cheese into its final form. The cheese is then aged for around 24 hours before being packaged and shipped to customers.
